1. Clear up! You must have heard this before. It works. In order to get things going you need fresh energy. Getting rid of things you don’t need any more is a very liberating – if at times painful – process. It sends a powerful message to your subconscious too – telling it that you are ready for change.
2. Refresh: Replace an old (not so helpful) habit with a new, healthier one. By doing so you are planting the seeds for the new life you desire. Whether it’s waking up 30’earlier to do a bit of stretching or walking more or drinking a ginger shot instead of the early coffee…now is the time. Days are getting longer, there is more optimism in the air…chances are that you will feel more supported in doing this now rather than in January…Go for it. Oh, and don’t forget that it takes about 21 days for a new habit to be properly formed, so make sure you are consistent. Start small and enjoy.
3. Embrace Life: Smile more. Smile as often as you can. Make a pact with yourself that you will smile every time you…see a child/hear a bird sing/think of someone dear/etc. Keep doing this. It won’t necessarily be easy at first but once it becomes a habit you’re unstoppable. You will see people respond differently to you. The entire world will change for you. Try it! Smile!
